My recent experience includes developing, deploying, and operating a multimillion dollar client-facing web app using Azure Web Apps, SQL Server, secure BLOB storage, and scheduled/queue-driven web jobs. High availability was provided using geo-replication and routing with Traffic Manager. Much of my work has focused on data validation, security, and fraud prevention. I have a strong background in accounting and understand the importance of accurate and timely data.I have several years of experience in managing work items, source control (Git and TFS), and automated builds and deployment processes using Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) and on-premise TFS. I can quickly organize a CI/CD pipeline for repeatable and reliable deployment.With a lifetime of hands-on software development and leadership experience, I have worked in every role in the software development lifecycle. This includes interacting with business leaders and clients, architecture and design, coding and leading teams of coders (on-shore and off-shore), coordinating with QA, orchestrating deployment, and responding to post-deployment issues. Although I am most comfortable in the Microsoft/.Net development stack, my strong foundation and commitment to ongoing training allows me to adapt quickly to new languages, tools, and techniques.
