This includes making a schedule for carrying out the audits at the chosen dealers and serivce partners. The audits are performed according to the guidelines given by the manufacturer. The job also includes reports to the manufacturers and the persons responsible of each brand at import level.

I was from September 2013 to July 2014 participating in an experiment on handling of the warranty claims from Semler Retail, Risskov (Aarhus) and Aalborg.Initially we were two colleagues who jointly managed the warranty settlement in two stores - with 5 brands - Volkswagen - Volkswagen Nutzfarzeuge - Audi - Seat and Skoda.There was some progress in the job and my colleague was as a programmer an important part in the development of utilities that should help to handle warranty work in the stores.It was very educational and exciting to be involved.The task also involved the conduct of induction meetings for service advisors and technicians, follow-up and training and subsequent support in daily life.Before this project was started was my primary tasks handling all types of claims handled by the workshop and ensure our warranty or goodwill repairs met the requirements for documentation and settlement applicable for Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda and Seat.

This was my apprenticeship, I was offered to continue here when my education was completed.My daily tasks included service and maintenance of customer cars of any brand.In addition also troubleshoot problem cars, retrofitting options as air conditioning, cruise control and immobilizers. My master had a great passion for vintage cars and Volkswagen and Audi - wich helped me to a good knowledge of these brands.It was a small workshop - therefore I had as a mechanic also very much customer contact - which started my interest in a job as a foreman.Dette var min læreplads, hvor jeg blev tilbudt at fortsætte efter min uddannelse blev afsluttet.Mine daglige opgaver bestod i service og vedligehold af kundebiler af alle mærker.Hertil også fejlfinding på problembiler, eftermontering af ekstraudstyr som klimaanlæg fartpilot og startspærre. Min mester havde en stor passion for dels veteranbiler og Volkswagen og Audi - hvilket gjorde jeg fik en godt kendskab til disse bilmærker. Det var et lille værksted - derfor havde jeg som mekanikersvend også meget kundekontakt - hvilket vakte min interesse for et job som værkfører.
