I took full responsibility for Multi-million dollar overhead budget with a view to increase efficiencies, reduce cost and add to bottom of the P&L. I implemented weekly & monthly operational review and KPIs. I have decommissioned & recommissioned Manufacturing from Sydney to new Plant in Albury including full training on set-up. • Increased DIFOT from 83% to 93% in just six months. • Successfully restructured Warehouse shifts to increase outgoing productivity by 20% without increasing headcount. • Implemented Lean processes successfully with FIFO order process. • Restructured Transport from Weekly run schedule to daily deliveries through full transport review and change management introducing ‘drop and swap’ & ‘load and go’ trailer system. • NSW achieved Branch of the year award within Whites Group Pty Ltd for the first time since 2000.

My role was to manage all the operational requirements across Customer Service, Production, Transport, Engineering, Chemical, Procurement, Quality, Health & Safety and Research & Development departments. I managed a team of 50 personnel and motivated them towards achieving optimum operational efficiency. I implemented a number of effective systems which had a huge impact on company profits and achieved ISO and OHSAS certificates. Part of my role involved managing a multimillion dollar overhead budget and maintaining full profit and loss accountability associated along with Manufacturing Variance, Transport and Warranty. • Significantly improved efficiencies in multiple areas; customer service levels grew from 70% to 96%, deliveries increased from 85% to 99.6%, product utilisation increased from 65% to 75% and engineering availability grew from 85% to 95%;• Achieved significant increase in revenue through cost down initiatives 2011 - 2014 and also through set up of a second production facility and additional insulated panel products; • Reduced warranty from 2.5% to 0.4% of sales and the scrap rate from 12% to 3% in three years; • Achieved insulated panel output of 30,000m per week , previously 5,000m per week; • Gained ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.
