I consider myself a problem solver. My strength is in simplifying complexities and getting to the heart of the marketing challenge and finding that compelling angle that will deliver results. For me, good strategy begins with having a clear understanding of the marketing challenge communications must solve for… who specifically we need to get to do what in order to grow the business. Then using data to find those relevant human and cultural truths that inform big ideas, content/messaging, and the role and priority of all necessary touchpoints across the brand’s experience ecosystem. My accomplishments include:- Building a comms planning practice from scratch and turning it into a key aspect of the overall agency proposition.- Creating results-based thinking frameworks and planning approaches for agencies, as well as, tailored solutions for clients.- Developing and running training sessions across the US and internationally in order to scale the agency’s approach to planning. - Playing leadership roles in new business.- Making data and analytics an integrated & integral part of planning - beyond just measurement.
