After 20 wonderful years with TLCD Architecture, I'm moving into the next adventure of retirement, with some consulting work thrown in to stay connected with the industry...My community college experience includes working with Santa Rosa Junior College, College of San Mateo, Mendocino College, College of the Redwoods, Yuba College, Solano College, West Valley/Mission College District, Napa Valley College, and College of Marin. At College of Marin, TLCD Architecture teamed with Mark Cavagnero Associates on the award-winning new Academic Center, and the same team is now working on the modernization of the historic Burbank Auditorium at Santa Rosa Junior College. Most recently, we are working with Wright Contracting on a design-build classroom and office building project for Santa Rosa Junior College, which is soon beginning construction.For the California State University System, I led our higher education team working with Sonoma State University on the conversion of the original student Commons building into the Wine Spectator Learning Center, which was recently completed.
