My partner and I started this business 11 years ago. My role was to adapt on a regular basis as the business grew and changed. I was responsible for every aspect of running the company. This sometimes included cleaning houses, windows, gutters, or pressure washing. I was responsible for hiring and training new cleaners, supervising the work, managing and coordinating the schedules, marketing and advertising, building and maintaining client relationships, tracking expenses, and generating reports for taxes. There were finer details involved in accomplishing my tasks and goals like designing the spreadsheets in Excel for reports, creating and implementing specific cleaning methods to fine tune efficiency, maintaining the website, and building relationships with advertisers.I sold my half of the company to launch another business that honed in on more specific services and to pursue my career in computer programming.
