I am currently an appointed committeeman in the 56th Ward, 32nd Division. Since the office of a committee person is a party office, not an elected one, I will be running for re-election in the primary of 2014. One of the duties I have as a committee person is to increase voter turnout of Republican voters in the voting division (sometimes called a "precinct) that I reside in. Aside from this, I conduct voter registration drives to increase the number of registered Republicans as well circulate nominating petitions for Republican candidates. Other duties include attending Ward Meetings, alert constituents of any change in polling places and connecting them with elected officials.
