Portfolio Manager
CurrentMy role is to manage the Council's Portfolio Office and to develop a portfolio of programmes & projects that support the delivery of strategic objectives. I work with partners, at a Council and city level, to translate strategy into measurable action plans which deliver real collaborative gain. This includes driving forward the delivery of the Belfast Agenda and providing assurance that the stated outcomes and benefits are being realised. I provide assurance and support to strategic directors, in their capacity as senior responsible officers, for strategic priorities, establishing delivery focused governance and partnership arrangements and enabling evidence-based decision making, including resolution of strategic issues and risks. I encourage and support the development and implementation of effective programme and project management capability across the Council, sharing good practice, tools and techniques.
