I perform all quality related tasks for the team including filling in for the Quality Manager when needed. Performed part qualifications when asked by upper management to aid the Engineering Dept. I acquired my CCL (Central Coating Lab) certification from Metcut Research Inc. in October of 2017 in preparation for FSNA to begin coating aerospace components.

I managed a team of Inspectors and Lab techs to support production and ensure quality throughout the processing of parts.

I started as a Lab Tech. and then added Quality Inspector duties additionally.

Worked as a contractor for General Electric in the MPE Lab during my tenure at this position. While in this position I performed sectioning (various saws), polishing (automated and by hand), etching for grains, phases and microstructure, NDT and other various tests on all components that GE was involved with manufacturing for both energy and healthcare. I used a portable XRF analyzer for composition analysis and other various lab duties. I dealt with SiC CMC components as well during testing for other divisions of GE through the MPE lab. I utilized and maintained a Robo-Met.3D®fully automated serial sectioning system for three-dimensional microstructural investigations.
