At Lead Systems Technologies, I led the way in crafting a training curriculum that was used to help our customers learn the essentials of online marketing, affiliate product development, website design, and basic computer skills. Along with creating the lessons and materials, I wrote phone scripts for the trainers to use when teaching their customers. This helped the company with retention by getting our trainers on the same page, and it encouraged customers through increased interaction. Once the curriculum was in place, we saw an immediate increase in customer satisfaction and retention.Along with the training curriculum, I also worked hand-in-hand with the owner to write front-end marketing materials for lead generation and online sales. This included writing, editing, and proofreading, and working with the in-house web designer to make sure landing pages were being designed for user-friendliness and optimal conversion rates.My daily tasks included writing marketing emails for leads generated through our landing pages, and managing those emails through programs like SendGrid, Exact Target, Mandrill and Mailgun. I managed over forty-two email campaigns at any given time, and increased sales from email campaigns in the time I was there through list segregation and reporting. I was relentless in my approach to getting into inboxes and not spam or junk folders.The atmosphere was extremely fast-paced, and there were many times when I was needed to help with overflow. This included assisting the web designer in prototyping layouts in Photoshop, and then coding those layouts through front-end languages like HTML/CSS.I've dabbled in PHP/MySQL here and there. I'm not profcient in writing PHP from scratch, but I learned how to read it in my interactions with the programs used.

Sessions College for Professional Design was a wonderful company to showcase some of my marketing and copywriting skills. In my time there, I worked closely with the CEO, President and Director of Admissions to create various online marketing campaigns that drew in potential students from various backgrounds and countries worldwide.One of my main daily functions was to create and manage several different email campaigns utilizing Constant Contact's platform. Through Constant Contact, I analyzed daily reports, segregated lists by open/click-through rates, etc. and worked with the IT department to ensure our lists were compliant.I took the lead in implementing and managing Google AdWords and Microsoft AdCenter campaigns in order to lead potential graphic/web design students to the landing pages of our website. The website itself was also frequently updated with engaging content and other useful information like virtual campus tours, student catalogs, current curriculums, student spotlights, tuition costs, graduation rates, and more.A lot of the content from sessions.edu worked in other ways as we were consistently at the top of Google's search results for the keyphrase "graphic design certificate". I worked with the President of Sessions to make sure our SEO objectives were being met.Between projects, I reached out to various education outlets and vendors to cross-promote the Sessions brand.
