I was a member of a team responsible for a group of 25+ children from toddlers to age 6 during After-care hours, filling in as needed as a sub in the classroom. My time there was too short, but I had great fun with the kids and outstanding faculty there. When a FT job with benefits came available in my previous field of non-Profit Development, I felt I had to make that change. But I miss the young'uns and hope to get back and visit often.

Grant writing and reporting, solicitations, gift acknowledgments, pursuing sponsorships, maintaining donor database, assisting with Annual Fund, Special Gifts and event planning; researched Planned Giving, conducted community outreach; implemented marketing plan for season and individual concerts; coordinated Web site content and social media, supervised interns and volunteers, attended Board meetings and took minutes, assisted as needed with database maintenance, phone sales, Customer Service presence at all performances.

Clients included Procter and Gamble, British Airways, Verizon, Paramount Parks, General Mills. Talent included Darlene Love, James Earle Jones, and Peter, Paul, and Mary.

Assisted in booking tours all throughout Midwest, Northwest, Southwest and West Coast, for a wide roster of artists including U2, Bruce Springsteen, Keith Richards, and Tom Petty. Agency long since absorbed by one of the biggies.
