•Plan pipeline schedules to optimize pipeline utilization, hydraulics and operating cost such as energy and DRA•Review and analyze requirements of customers to determine proper batch size, sequence and timing at origin and destination points•Communicate with scheduling personnel of shippers and connecting carriers to develop proper timing and grades of receipt and deliveries •Provide appropriate schedules and instructions to shippers, connecting carriers, and MPL Operations Center and field personnel; update these to reflect changes in batch size, sequence, timing origin, etc.•On call 24 hours/7 days per week to adjust schedules for problems due to operational upsets or emergencies•Identify business growth opportunities by understanding MPL’s critical success factors and utilizing market information as well as implementing schedule efficiencies•Identify synergies by working with shippers, connecting carriers, MPL field personnel and M&TE to minimize downtime•Trained, scheduled and have working knowledge on all MPL crude oil pipeline systems•Successfully scheduled MPL major projects – such as the Owensboro to Catlettsburg replacement – 27 miles of 24” line, highway reroute projects, ILI tool results and other abnormal operations•Successfully on-boarded the Capline pipeline system to MPL operations - interfaced with a variety of organizations within MPL to transfer controls, systems, and processes to MPL standards•Active participant in the monthly Capline Oil Committee meetings providing operational updates to the three companies that form the joint venture of Capline
