The program director is appointed and approved by our governing body to have full authority and responsibility for operations, which includes hiring and management of the administrative and direct staff of the agency. Maintenance, management, and delivery of services as well as supervision of subordinate staff are required as well. The program director is responsible for following the company approved systems for delivery of services and adherence to all state and government rules and regulations. The program director must have a high school diploma and at least two years of business operations or similar experience. This position reports directly to the executive director of the agency.

As an Aviation Maintenance Specialist, my responsibilities are to advise on all aspects of Army aviation procedures and policies, to instruct all ULLS-A (E) POI, perform testing, present training programs for customers, and assist in the resolution of software issues pertaining to all versions of the ULLS-A (E) programs. Coordinate with engineering to identify program needs, obtain technical data and scheduled programs. Conducts training on program topics and designs and helps to develop training program elements/modules. Provide assistance to technical writers in aviation maintenance management utilizing the Army Aviation maintenance principles and Army Maintenance Management System – Aviation (TAMMS-A) and parallel this effort for Aviation Technical Supply Management. Create programs of instruction (POI), student hand-outs, and training support plans (TSP) in support of ULLS-A (E) software change packages.

Trained 8 Technical Inspectors on proper QA procedures receiving four awards over three year period for superior performance. Served as both an AH-64A and AH-64D Technical Inspector.Team Chief / Phase Team Leader- Responsible for the health, welfare, training and morale of seven soldiers. Supervised scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations on 24 AH-64A helicopters.
