The scope of this appointment involves all activities associated with the management of the Merensky and UG2 Concentrator Complex. This includes Management of all Process related issues, R&D, SHEQ Management System, Budget Control( including salary allocation), Engineering Maintenance, Human Resources (including implementation of a Social Labour Plan) as well as daily meetings and communication with the Client, Boynton.Areas of responsibility associated with this position include the following:• Crushing and Screening of Run of Mine Ore from the Open Cast Workings• Dense Media Separation• Milling and Flotation• Concentrate Handling• Tailings Disposal, Process Water and Return Water Dams• Engineering Workshops• Assay Laboratory• Stores• Admin Building• Training Centre• Sewage Plant

The scope of this position was as follows: • To manage selected projects in a manner which ensures that targets and deadlines are met. This must however not be to the detrement of quality and safety standards as specified by the client.• To ensure that stong lines of communication between TWP and our clients are maintained in order to maximise available resources at my disposal• To liaze with all required TWP personnel (Drawing office, Engineering personnel in the various diciplines, TWP Johannesburg, Admin and HR staff etc.) in order to achieve required goals and objectives. • To maintain accurate records all required data for easy access when required.• Prepare required documendation such as Scopes of work, Process control Philosophies and meeting minutes etc.• Design and evaluate Process Flow Diagrams and P&ID’s for a host of varied metallurgical project.• Hazard and Operability Study ( HAZOP) Facilitation during Project Management, Design, Commissioning, and Evaluation. • Manage and assist with the commissioning of metallurgical processes when required.
