I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and currently the Acting Dean for the School of Education at Felician University and an Associate Professor in their ABA program. I originally developed a graduate program in ABA at Seton Hall University where I was a former professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. I was the founder/CEO of B.E.S.T. Strategies formerly known as Behavioral and Educational Solutions and Training of NJ, LLC (BEST NJ, LLC) which was a nationally recognized as a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence. I received my Education Specialist degree in school psychology and Masters of Arts in psychology from Seton Hall University and a graduate certificate in applied behavior analysis from Pennsylvania State University. I have worked with students with severe developmental disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and psychiatric conditions for the past seven years in both public and private schools. My clinical areas of expertise include behavioral crisis intervention, applied behavior analysis, behavioral assessment, and providing treatment and interventions for students with the severe problem behaviors of physical aggression and self-injury. I have presented at state and national conferences and have published articles and book chapters in school psychology and special education on behavior management strategies, behavioral crisis intervention, and restraint and seclusion practices in schools. I am an expert regarding restraint and seclusion use in schools and provide consultation in this area.
