Included setup of new DCS system/software and integration of the new system with the existing system as a trial of new system/software. - Implemented a site wide project to remove gaseous chlorine. This project removed all gaseous chlorine usage from the site and replaced it with sodium hypochlorite, significantly lowering the potential of offsite risk from chemical release.- Executed a project to allow shipping of anhydrous ammonia by railcar from the facility. This project was implemented to maximize product flexibility from the site, and to allow for increased operation of the ammonia plant during upgrade unit outages. This included ensuring that the site all involved personnel understand and are properly trained on the regulations for handling and shipping anhydrous ammonia by rail.- Lead optimization and troubleshooting in daily production for assigned units.- Serve as a relief supervisor for the ammonia plant overseeing six operators.- Hold responsibility for monthly production reports for assigned units.- Responsibility for direction and oversight of assigned Engineering Co-op students.
