Preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, and closing entries for Tandem Logistics, LLC. Preparing operations reports. Entering payables and vendors. Reconciling statements. Printing checks. Processing payroll for mechanics. Interim driver payroll. Computer network & repair, printer installations and troubleshooting.

At MMCAA I worked my way up from Accounting Assistant to Accounts Payable, to Accounts Payable 2. We processed hundreds of checks weekly. I was given many special projects other than accounts payable. One task was to bill for our child care centers and track the receivables associated. Various other tasks included preparing deposits, putting together utility usage reports for management, preparing credit card expenditure reports for the board, etc...

I worked at Maru seasonally while attending college. Here I got to try my hands at sandblasting and painting. We mostly worked on natural gas piping at exposed regulators or valves to prevent them from rusting. This job taught me how to have a good time while working long hours in hazardous environments.
