Brian is has been an active member of the social service field for almost ten years. He currently works as a Care Coordinator for USCRI. He specifically works within the PC Ukraine program and assist the Health and Wellness Department with various supports. He was a Case Manager within the Leafbridge Therapy Department of United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland. He works with clients and their families to develop the necessary skills to navigate various systems including healthcare, education government benefits and much more. The most rewarding aspect of Brian’s career is establishing and maintaining caring working relationships with the populations that he serves to help improve their quality of life. He offers a unique perspective and valuable insight into maintaining a successful life and career despite having a disability (Brian was born with CP). Brian established his interest in the social service field upon graduating from Baldwin Wallace University with honors in 2014. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a Film Studies minor. Brian is an active participant on several nonprofit boards that aim to advocate for equality and equity for people with disabilities. He holds a vice chair position on The Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio Board and The Gould Syndrome Foundation. He was a representative of UCP on The Developmental Disabilities Project Based Research Network in affiliation with the Cleveland Clinic and is a contributing member of the Statewide Youth Leadership Forum under the Centers for Independent Living. Brian looks forward to expanding his skillset and nonprofit network into a position that allows him to grow professionally in a managerial capacity and beyond.
