Managed up to 25 projects at a time working closely with Ciena Sales and Project Management teams.• Created detailed network designs for sold projects for AT&T UVN and LNS accounts, including scope of work, rack elevations, and signal flow drawings for AT&T’s end customers requiring their own private leased networks in order for implementation team to be able deploy, install, test and turn up new rings in a timely and cost effective manner. • Developed and executed Engineering Method of Procedures (EMOP), augmenting existing traffic carrying networks without affecting existing traffic.• Implemented training courses for internal and external customers to provide them base navigation knowledge in the Site manager software.• Implemented the first deployment of the 4x10G OTR with encryption in the AT&T account which involved thorough training to AT&T and their end customer due to it being first time where end customer had responsibility of loading security certificates into the Ciena 6500.• Created Excel document for AT&T using formulas and macros to streamline the process and auto fill several cells based on what was inputted in other cells to improve employee performance as well as reduce network acceptance time by the AT&T UMC(NOC).• First to perform a complete TOADM to ROADM conversion on live network utilizing existing equipment and keeping traffic impacts to a minimum. Project took months of planning and several hours of in lab testing to create the process. Once process was created and written in EMOP it took 7 consecutive 12 hour overnight maintenance windows to execute. -
