I was responsible for growing and maturing a talented team of developers to build Rivian’s scheduling platform to coordinate commitments with customers for activities such as Test Drives, Deliveries, Fleet, and Vehicle Service. As a full-stack team, we collaborated across the business to design and deliver a suite of micro-services (REST & GQL), micro-frontends (React), and enterprise applications to be used across Enterprise Technology. As business grew and there was a need for a more flexible and dynamic system, we matured the platform to take into account resource location, availability, and capabilities when offering appointment times. The goal was to reduce employee overhead, automate coordination, minimize downtime, and take external factors (such as transit time) into consideration.

I delivered career development, coaching and performance management for developers, leads, and managers. I also spearheaded cross-functional collaboration with support, product, project management, customer success, and sales. I have been commended by leaders for transforming from Agile to SAFe (Scalable Agile Framework) to facilitate planning and prioritization across all business units.My accomplishments include:• Established AWS migration by Migrating first set of core applications from on-premise data center.• Partnered with other Cox Automotive business units to facilitate product integration, technology collaboration, and reduction of duplicate efforts.• For product acquisition, consolidated data centers and delivered the first platform integrated feature on time, in alignment with business spectrum marketing messaging.• Charged with overseeing and providing guidance to product management to refine requirements, prioritize product deliverables with engineering improvements, and produce high-level estimates to schedule work into releases.• Played a key role in leading architectural design discussions and technology decisions, focusing on scalability, maintainability, fault tolerance, and cost.

I managed the delivery of two teams, including day-to-day operations. Developed a new engineering team and built a new marketing product from the ground up. I utilized batch processing, Data Warehouse, NoSQL, message queues, centralized cache, and Service Oriented Architecture. This premium product boosted revenue from existing customers by 25-50%. Our efforts were recognized as the fastest growing revenue stream for 1+ years.My accomplishments include:• Played a critical role in requirements, architecture, pilot, and customer feedback. I directed a team of seven offshore and two local resources in successfully delivering the company’s first next-gen web app, ahead of initial schedule, including a pilot phase. I was commended by executive staff and customers for exceptional job and leadership. Additionally, I provided key involvement and support in product design, UX, and feature definition.My accomplishments include:• Successfully managed all consumer facing applications across three continents.• Improved, converted, and augmented legacy PL/SQL code to Java for the purpose of horizontal scalability and maintainability by developers without PL/SQL knowledge.

I developed and implemented an Android app for vehicle inspection, service upsell, digital signature, and service estimate generation. I successfully integrated with Jasper Server for PDF generation and AWS for media storage. This new flagship product more than doubled revenue from participating customers.My accomplishments include:• Pioneered company’s first mobile app (webkit) using JavaScript, Integrated with Hyundai’s owner manual iPad App, and coordinated with Lexus and Hyundai to integrate dealerships’ mobile sites.• Directed a team of two in building an API integration in python with a new dealership management system. • Organized and managed implementation, testing, and certification. Successfully increased the number of potential customers by 2000.
