I am a very capable person, who is driven by results, and I can work extremely well within a collaborative team environment or as an individual. I am hardworking and really enthusiastic as well as being determined person who has a strong work ethic and punctual. After graduating from The University of Huddersfield I decided to join the security industry looking for a challenge.During my time in the security industry, I have held a number of positions, I initially joined the industry as an unlicensed steward working car parks as a traffic steward before obtaining my SIA door supervision licence. After working various events for several years and obtaining further accreditation such as SIA CCTV Licence and CSCS I moved from events to working on several construction sites until March 2019 when I was given the opportunity to become an operator is a fast paced local authority control room in Salford. After nearly 2 years working as a CCTV operator for Salford City Council I was made the control room supervisor over the authorities CCTV and Alarm Receiving Centres, also taking the councils out-of-hours calls relaying information to on-call operatives as required. Working as the control room supervisor has also included both a team of operational staff in the control room, as well as a small team of mobile response officers, dispatching them to alarm activations along with relevant emergency services if required.Most recently I have transitioned within Salford City Council to run their Bus Lane Enforcement team where I have the responsibility to manage a small team ensuring PCNs are correctly issued when required and that contraventions are rejected if needed. I am also required to work with several contractors and senior leadership of the authority.
