As One EVA ETCA Deputy Manager, I evaluate and assess the broad spectrum of specialized tools available to astronauts to safely and precisely conduct extravehicular activities outside the International Space Station. Each EVA takes countless hours of preparation and consideration from many teams, and I am proud to be a member of the EVA community and the One EVA team at Oceaneering Space Systems.I drive high performing teams with a passion for innovation and creativity to exceed goals and meet the needs of all stakeholders. I’ve leveraged my knowledge of systems engineering, automation, inventive design, structural analysis, and project management to usher forward new technologies. With clear, concise technical communication, I increase value to customers and buy-in from engineers by breaking down complex projects to directly contribute to the overall goal. I’ve found greater productivity and higher satisfaction is a direct result of establishing a shared perspective, by identifying the critical path throughout the project lifecycle from inception to completion and beyond.I draw from my diverse background of experience and continual curiosity to identify and apply my skills with maximum efficacy, and to empower those around me to execute to their potential. While always supportive of my team, I also counsel my peers and other leaders with strategic considerations of unexplored connections.
