Was responsible for the planning and scheduling of all activities within multiple manufacturing cells, including customer commits, WIP tracking, and allocation of people, resources and all quality objectives.Drove continuous improvements initiatives with my manufacturing teams to improve overall cost by 10%, on time delivery (which was 100% for the last 22 of 23 months), and customer satisfaction (with a lot of focus we had one of the highest results in the plant of 4.98 out of 5).Helped set up and run a direct order fulfillment process, including daily customer interaction, order scheduling, production and direct shipments. Trained all new Cell captains within the facility with common and complex skills, or arranged training to ensure to meet or exceed all business and customer requirements and expectations. Did extensive Manual assembly, Quality Control, Box Build, Functional Test and final shipment directly to their end users.Scheduled and organized staff for any overtime requirements needed, making sure proper skill coverage was available (utilizing cross training), to complete all customers commits under significant budgetary constraints.Worked on many cross functional groups like JHSC to make sure all working conditions were safe with quick resolutions to minor or major issues .Helped control inventory with daily monitoring (and correction), of parts or assemblies that fell out of the process due to Non-conformance, supplier quality issues or process damage. Worked on eliminating part shortfalls or incorrect inventory, which could cause production delays or problems within the cell.Only 1 of 2 selected to participate in advanced Manufacturing Coach Development Course started in 2012.
