As CEO of Loureiro, I am responsible for developing the vision and overseeing the implementation of the firm’s strategic plan which is designed to ensure the continued growth, development, and profitability of the organization. I will continue to consult on a variety of projects being undertaken by the firm.

I joined Loureiro in 1991 and have extensive expertise in the development, planning, engineering, evaluation, design and construction administration of various projects in the fields of Civil and Environmental engineering. I have worked on some of the largest Brownfield redevelopment projects in Connecticut and am proficient in the integration of remediation and redevelopment. My work includes projects throughout Connecticut, the northeast and mid west for Fortune 500 corporations, local, State and Federal government entities, and a myriad of private entities. In my capacity as President of Loureiro, I direct operations, administration and client relations and am responsible for establishing and achieving the vision, market strategy and performance objectives of the firm. I retain an active role in a variety of projects that call upon my oversight capacity and extensive expertise.I have directed environmental investigations, remedial action planning and implementation, and permitting, in conformance with numerous regulatory programs in the State of Connecticut. My site investigation experience ranges from Phase I environmental site assessments to complex investigations of soil, groundwater, surface water and sediment contaminated with multiple contaminants in a range of environmental settings. I have evaluated, developed and designed remedial strategies, and provided managerial oversight of numerous multi-million dollar remediation projects in a variety of contaminated media. I maintain excellent professional relationships with senior decision makers at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CTDEEP). I was also one of three environmental consultants asked by the Commissioner of the CTDEEP to participate on an advisory panel to assist in the revision of the Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations.
