In this role, I oversee the daily operations of a 72 bed Juvenile Assessment Center that houses both juvenile youth and neglected youth. I oversee 120 staff including mental health professionals, a recreational therapist, a facilities manager, and an administrative assistant. I serve as the primary administrator for all onsite security systems. I assist the executive program director in all daily roles. I assist in the completion of scheduling, payroll, and training. I also serve as an investigator for all onsite incidents. A major component of this job is ensuring the success of youth through all aspects of the brief 30 to 45 day program through solution driven conflict resolution. In this role, I am on-call twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

Nashville Metropolitan Area

In this role, I was responsible for the direct supervision of seventy-five convicted felons. It was my duty to ensure these individuals remained in compliance with the Community Corrections programming. This included the receipt of fees, restitution and fines, ensuring community service was completed, collecting pay stubs, and conducting curfew checks. In this role, I supervised a specialized population of Sex Offenders who require even more stringent supervision through the Sex Offender Registry. Finally, it was my duty in this role to testify under oath in the Tennessee State Trial Courts as to how offenders were proceeding through the program.

Responsible for the physical security and life safety of six residential housing units targeting convicted felons who require specialized Drug and Alcohol (AOD) and/or Mental Health (MH) Treatment. I manage and lead 24 security personnel who provide protection to 218 staff and 234 clients in addition to providing programming to the clients. Through my duties, I have full administrative access to several security systems including ExacqVision CCTV, Garrett Metal Detector Systems, Attenti GPS Systems, Keri Key Systems, Arista Internal Duress Systems, Fire Detection Systems, and Intrusion Alarm Systems. I ensure that a variety of Contractual Obligations are met to program contractors including the American Corrections Association (ACA), the Allegheny County Department of Corrections, Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Federal Bureau of Prisons, the United States Probation Office (USPO), Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), Community Care Behavioral Health (CCBH), and Value Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania (VBH). I assist in the development, application, and enforcement of security and life safety policy to ensure that program quality meets the audited requirements. Secondary Job Duties include working with K9 contractors to conduct facility searches, schedule generation, staff evaluation, payroll completion, interviewing prospective applicants, and resolving grievances. I am also on-call twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for emergent issues that may arise. In this role, I also serve as the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Compliance Manager. This position requires that I assist Law Enforcement Agencies at the County, State, and Federal Level investigate alleged Sexual Misconduct within the facility. This includes generating detailed repairs, interviewing alleged victims and alleged perpetrators, and conducting PREA Accommodation Reviews for individuals going through Gender Transition.

I led 12 security Personnel through day to day operations during the 3:00PM to 11:00PM shift. In addition to myself, these 12 personnel were responsible for the protection of two, eight-story, residential facilities in the downtown Pittsburgh Area. My primary function was to serve as after-hours leadership, and resolve any emergent issues that arose during my duty hours. Other duties included, policy enforcement, schedule generation, payroll completion, and staff evaluation. I was also responsible for recording keeping in the area of facility searches, training new staff, and urine collection and shipment.

As a senior staff member, I was responsible for ensuring register accuracy at numerous points throughout the day, opening and closing the store, training new staff, ensuring that the restaurant met both Pennsylvania, and Subway health codes, completing food prep, inventorying stock weekly to ensure that accurate orders were placed, and assisting the franchisee with various miscellaneous tasks around the property.

I was responsible for providing customer service and security to patrons at a variety of venues across the Greater Pittsburgh Area. These venues included Heinz Field, PNC Park, Peterson Events Center, David L. Lawrence Convention Center, The Pavilion at Star Lake, Stage AE, and A.J. Palumbo Center. This was completed by both operating at a stationary post and roving patrol. I worked closely with Pittsburgh City Police, and various Municipal Police Departments to ensure that all safety precautions were appropriately taken throughout events. In this role, I also conducted pat searches, bag searches, and operated a handheld metal detector.
