Operations Manager / Duty holder for FSO Apollo Spirit operating in the UK North SeaBeing the Operations Manager/Duty Holder I am responsible for day to day management of all aspect of the FSO Apollo Spirit operations. Evaluate the operational organization onshore and offshore on a continuous basis to ensure safety objectives are met. This includes revision of Safety Management System documentation and procedures. The Apollo Spirit Safety Case, which includes responsibility for maintaining/updating it. Ensure vessel technical and HSE management adhered to, as per USS – TSO contract. Provide critical evaluation of vessel performance and recommend safe, cost effective improvements as appropriate.

Responsible for onshore support to Balmoral floating Production platform and Tiffany fixed leg platform. Duties include, onshore repairs, engineering projects from draft to completion, vendor liaison to ensure best value for AGIP, set and maintain yearly budget of around £5 million. Subsea support i.e. company representative onboard diving vessels for well intervention, regular visits offshore for both maintenance and construction activities.Set up and carry new inspection philosophy for the 5 yearly chain inspection for Balmoral FPV, this deviated from the DNV standard of the 8 chains being inspected in air, to 1 in air inspection and the remaining 7 being inspected by ROV using real time photography, this has been accepted by DNV which is significant in its self, as it is the first time this type of inspection has been applied, saving significant time and money. Project managed flare tip change outs on both Tiffany and Balmoral using helicopter replacement method

Also taking the lead role in planning and supervising during major process plant shutdown etc. Ordering of spare parts to ensure minimum downtime and equipment efficiency.
