20+ Years of working in Manufacturing. I started right out of college with Chrysler Corporation, a powertrain plant in Kenosha, Wi. I worked myself up through the ranks to plant leadership position over 8 years. I really enjoyed the fast pace, learning experiences, and lean principle implementation.12 of the 20+ years of manufacturing experience has been in a leadership role. The 2009 downturn of the economy forced the closure of the Kenosha Engine Plant. I began a career in sheet metal fabrication in Oshkosh, Wi. A move to working directly for the Presidents/Owners of the businesses.I enjoyed moving from high volume - low mix to low volume - high mix environment. I held many positions such as: Quality Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering Manager, Director of Lean Enterprise. Sometimes I held several of these position at the same time. A benefit to working directly for the stakeholder.I enjoyed the team building and process improvements gained in development of talent within all the organizations I have worked with. Instilling the insatiable appetite to eliminate waste is challenging and rewarding.
