To do so, I analyzed equipment, materials, and documentation in coordination with inspection teams. Upon meeting daily and weekly objectives, I created performance scorecards and spreadsheets to deliver KPIs and 3-12-month forecasts to the senior leadership team. By diligently maintaining operational readiness, I boosted my division’s audit rate from 60% to 88%, the highest in the ship class. In addition, I passed several legal and operational audits by external organizations with a 91-100% score. During my time here, I led multiple initiatives to detect and revamp inefficient processes. As an example, I tracked and mitigated defects in the aviation safety program, increasing its readiness from ~60% to 86%, the highest in the Navy. On the same note, I helped the supply division reach its inventory accuracy objectives for the first time in 5 quarters by implementing preventive maintenance policies. Similarly, by systemizing document organization, I enhanced team accountability and accelerated the case preparation process from 2 weeks to 2 days. A major component of my position was directing, training, and engaging a 150-400-member workforce.
