I created fun and dynamic learning spaces where it was safe to get it wrong if you wanted to get it right. Using my own experience as a language learner, I know how important it is to find what works uniquely for you as a learner. I shared the tips that had worked for me in accomplishing my language fluency goals, and motivated my clients and students to find theirs. I worked both in person and online with an extremely diverse client base in sectors such as architecture and design, professional associations, manufacturing, car sharing, advertising, HR consulting, as well as working in schools and vocational training programs with teachers, teenagers and young adults.As a Fluency Trainer and EFL Events Organizer, I created learning experiences, facilitating real contexts of social interaction and communication to improve language skills. I organized weekends away, game nights, movie nights, cooking workshops, coffee talk, debates and theater games.Through translation, I had to understand diverse cultural contexts that go beyond words to make sure that the original message, when translated, reaches the intended audience in a way that makes sense based on their worldview.Key competencies included:• Able to work well independently• Effective communication• Ability to influence and motivate• Active listening• Innovation

Our storytelling was peppered with music and dance, always invited the audience to sing along and move with us, and was in English or Spanish, depending on the audience.
