Key Achievements• Development and implementation of the group’s Incident and Crisis Management System for including procedures, training and delivery of the group exercise/drill programme.• Development of the group’s overall Business Continuity Management System to the ISO22301 standard and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) processes. Responsibilities • Overseeing the implementation of an effective Crisis and Business Continuity Management system for the group to improve overall resilience from initial conception to final implementation and validation. • The management of key relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, emergency services and government bodies.

Key Achievements• Development of Crisis Management systems for nationally critical organisations in the UAE.• Delivery of a successful training and competency programme for key senior management in Incident Command and Crisis Management.• Successfully designing and executing a range of major crisis exercises involving multiple agencies across various private and government bodies. • Execution of a major BC gap analysis for Abu Dhabi Police force, resulting in the development of the police force new ISO22301 compliant BCMS.Responsibilities • Management of a team of 10 Subject Matter Experts in the delivery of Business Continuity, Emergency Response, Crisis Management and projects throughout the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia regions. • Business development within the region resulting in the award of multiple long term contracts across the region including strategic projects in the UAE, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ghana, Oman and Qatar.

• The successful design and implementation of an Emergency and Crisis Response system for remote operations in Papua. • Full accreditation of the Major Emergency Management (MEM) simulator in KL. • Design and development of a state–of-the-art MEM simulator in Singapore.• Successful delivery of major projects in New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Russia and Vietnam.• The successful management of Emergency and Crisis Management operations within the South East Asia and Australasia Region. This included the development of a team of 25 support staff in the delivery of special projects.

• The development and implementation of Emergency Response and Crisis Management plan for key oil and gas facilities within the ADNOC group of companies. This included the validation of procedures through drills and exercises.• The successful completion of an incident and crisis gap analysis for a foreign multi-national within Iran.• The development of an innovative ERP development methodology, which was successfully implemented across the group.

Responsibilities • Maintaining and supporting unique projects across the UK oil and gas sector (onshore and offshore). • Completing work of other high-risk industries within the local region including the Scottish whisky industry. • Plan development, training, audits and drills and exercises. • HR duty representative for TOTAL to manage the relative response aspects during a crisis.

• Developing and maintaining of the Crisis Management Centre and the Relative Response Facilities. • Training and co-ordination of family assistance responders (Made up of volunteers).• Developing of relationships with external stakeholders (Police, Fire, Airport Authorities) and maintaining awareness of the latest technologies, philosophies and regulation changes within the industry.
