    My role as software support engineer was to provide support for the AMCS suite of products. I was also maintaining data integrity, creating reports and identifying bugs in the software for the customers. I was designing reports in SQL for internally in the product or in SSRS with the updated product line. It's very important to understand the customer's requirements when creating these report and to ensure that the data is correct.As the Team Lead for the software support team, my responsibilities include project time allocation for project managers, creating reports for customers for ticket resoultions, meeting customer's expectations, ensure that all cases are dealt with in the correct manner and they try to meet the customers SLA. I was reporting directly to the Software support manager. One of my main weekly tasks is to create a software statistics report to determine how the software centre was operating. This report is used to evaluate the efficiency of the software team’s time and to ensure the customer is getting the best service possible. My role also required me to provide off site training in the suite of products to the customers and roll out new and updated version of the products. During this phase, I spent a month on site for a customer in the UK so they got the reassurance that they had someone on site during a major software upgrade.

    I was working a reporting analyst and IT administrator with STL Logistics, a national Warehousing and Transport company. I was designing in house reports that were analysing the effectiveness of the transport fleet of trucks. I was also designing and working on reports to try to get the greatest usage out of the warehouse. When the company acquired new contracts, I was tasked with importing the customer details into the both systems. I was developing reports using the Microsoft Visual Foxpro environment for my reports and importing processes.My IT administration tasks included monitoring and setup of the Virtual environment,creating VPN connections to the company sites across Ireland which we supported remotely, supporting over 100 users between the different sites.
