Wrote Java, J2EE based business rules engine (BRE) utilized as an Adapter (.jar file) in numerous inter-intranet applications. Wachovia needed a way to incorporate many of the same business rules across different applications. Compared (Comparator) and validated fields from sources such as LDAP, SQL Server, Oracle, and Data Warehouse. Performed high volume (batch) processing in multi-tiered applications. Applications would interrogate and validate nightly batch processing from Davox (telephony system) to Data Warehouse. Designed, developed, and deployed middle/back end components using EJB (Session – Entity - JMS). When utilizing Websphere 4, utilized the DAO pattern and Session Beans as business components to perform business logic and transfer DTO (Data Transfer Objects) to and from front and back-end tiers. Utilized Webshpere MQ as middleware and developed Message Beans to consolidate communication between previous applications built in different languages. Interfacing EIS tiers such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Data Warehouse. Designed enterprise application databases for optimal performance. Wrote stored procedures, triggers, and views in Oracle, SQL Server, and Data Warehouse.
