Filmic Productions is a student-run video production agency at the University of Michigan. I was part of Filmic for all four years of my college career and served on the Executive Board as Vice President of Finance for two years. Filmic produces high-quality, paid videos for clients at the University of Michigan, local Ann Arbor businesses, and beyond.As VP Finance, my job entailed: managing the team's yearly budget, projecting and tracking income and expenses, gathering information for and submitting reimbursement requests through the University, writing invoices for clients, and negotiating client contracts. As an editor, my job entailed: taking notes on-set, organizing footage on SSDs and shared cloud drives, and editing rough cuts, picture locks, and final cuts for our clients in Adobe Premiere Pro. My work in Premiere Pro includes construction, cutting, motion graphics, color correction and color grading, and more. I have edited a wide range of videos, including but not limited to multi-camera interview series, promotional content, advertisements, and university commencement videos.

Created immersive XR (Extended Reality) experiences for lecturers at the English Language Institute (ELI). Past XR experiences include campus tours and virtual "office hours" simulators. These XR experiences have been piloted in ELI speaking courses such as ELI 531 - Language and Communication I.Wrote detailed scripts, creating storyboards, shooting projects on-location using 360-degree camera technology, and editing video footage and photos using Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Insta360 Studio, and Uptale.Designed user-friendly interactions and objectives to acquaint international students who speak English as a second language with campus resources/locations and allow them to practice language and communication skills in a "safe" environment.Built presentation slide decks and submitted writeups of our research for presentation at various conferences, including MITESOL 2022, American Association for Applied Linguistics Conference 2022, and XR @ Michigan 2022. Our research has also been published in the Cambridge University Press.
