Joya Studio is an independent commercial fragrance house founded by my partner, Frederick Bouchardy, in 2006 & based in NYC. We design & develop scents and perfumed products for clients, then manufacture in-house at our 8,000sf Brooklyn facility.

Kjaer Weis was a true trailblazer of the clean beauty market in the 2010's. I was invited by the founder to oversee day-to-day mgmt of the company & Board. We drove a 5x growth in revenue and 12x growth in DTC revenue, while building a company infrastructure & 20-person team. Expanded the product range from "niche" to full line (from 30 to 200 SKU's). Closed Seed and Series A investment rounds. Transferred my role to a new CEO after Waldencast Ventures purchased their majority stake in late 2020.

A NYC-based angel investor focused on start-ups in the food & wellness segments. Our portfolio highlights include early investments into Hungryroot (2015) and True Made Foods (2016).

Kevyn Aucoin Beauty is an iconic cosmetics brand, which had fallen on hard times after the 2008-09 market turmoil. I was recruited by private investment group to assume day-to-day leadership following their purchase of the company in 2010. Spearheaded the turnaround, including a 6x growth in revenue and a rebuilt infrastructure with 25 employees (up from 5). Handed off role to a new CEO after company was acquired by Manzanita Capital.

Reengineered marketing programs through the application of operational research techniques. Role spanned U.S. & international markets, including projects in Australia, Mexico, India, Singapore, Japan and Korea.

Reengineered supply chains and logistics of various Air Force programs through the use of data, advising on aircraft, training and infrastructure scenarios.
