I was chairman of the New York Conference Board’s Council on International Organization and Management for 11 years,I have worked with 30 of the world’s leading multinationals.Some of my major clients include: Barclay’s Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyd’s Banking Group, Orange Telecommunications, Air New Zealand, Unilever, Tesco, Kao, DanoneI have 40 years experience in the areas of organizationdevelopment, leadership and change management. I developed the DMA Solution Set covering organization design, leadership development and reward based on levels of accountability, first implemented in Unilever in 1997 across 100 countries and in anumber of other companies, such as Tesco and most recently,Northern Rock, as part of its turnaround post nationalisation.These principles have also been used to assess the effectiveness of various Whitehall Departments and a number of major local authorities.I have conducted consulting assignments in about 50 different organizations, covering about twenty different industries in the private sector and more than a dozen major organizations in the public sector. The DMA approach applies to any employment organization that has a clear mission and a leader held toaccount to deliver it. I have also written a number of articles for various magazines in different counties on the themes of people management, organization development, change and leadership.In 2010, I was chosen as Cambridge Who’s Who 2010Professional of the Year in Organization and Leadership.I was also chairman of the New York Conference Board’s Council on International Organization and Management. for 11 years.
