Relationship distress has been linked to numerous domains of mental health, physical, and child outcomes. Fortunately, couple therapy has significant and large effects compared to no treatment. However, although approximately half of marriages end in divorce, only one third of divorcing couples have sought couple therapy. The OurRelationship program - which has been tested in four nationwide randomized controlled trials involving over 2,500 couples - seeks to provide effective online relationship interventions to unhappy couples. OurRelationship has been shown to improve not only couples' relationships but also their mental health, physical health, co-parenting, and child outcomes.
