I've spent the past 20+ years leading finance and operations teams in the startup and growth company space partnering with CEOs and VC and PE sponsors across various industries. Most recently, I was hired at Shift7 Digital as CFO in 2019 to prepare the company for a future exit transaction for the private equity owner. After navigating the operational challenges created by COVID-19 in 2020, we grew the business while focusing on margin expansion. In 2023, we successfully sold Shift7 to Merkle (member of the Dentsu global network).Previously, I was VP Finance at DashBid Media, a real-time, auction-based media selling platform designed and built specifically for programmatic video advertising. I developed my professional foundation in accounting at Ernst & Young (where I earned my CPA) and then expanded my financial expertise in investment banking at Salomon Brothers and then Wit Capital. I leveraged my financial experience into growth company management first as the VP of Corporate Development at FerrousExchange (a start-up metals trading platform) and then as President and CFO of PixFusion (a media / technology company selling and producing personalized media products for advertising applications as well as direct to consumer). In 2019, I was the interim CFO at Effie Worldwide. Effie is the pre-eminent trade association for marketing effectiveness with board participation including Google, Facebook, Amazon, Universal McCann, Harvard Business School, Coca-Cola, Publicis, NBCUniversal and IBM China. I continue to work with Effie as a member of the finance committee to the board.
