Brian E. Crim is Professor of History and Chair at the University of Lynchburg in Virginia where he teaches courses in Modern European history, the Holocaust, and Military History. He co-created the Intelligence Studies major and teaches courses in intelligence analysis. He received his B.A. from James Madison University (1994), an M.A. from Old Dominion University (1997) and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University (2003). His publications include Antisemitism in the German Military Community and the Jewish Response, 1914-1938 (Rowman & Littlefield, 2014), Our Germans: Project Paperclip and the National Security State (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2018), and Planet Auschwitz: Holocaust Representation in Horror and Science Fiction (Rutgers University Press, 2020). Crim worked as an intelligence analyst for the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security.
