Logistics Specialist Supervisor
CurrentLead a team of eight Logistic Specialists in the proper method of conducting inventory audits in coordination with EY and the NAVSUP IOC team leads. This was inclusive of utilizing various databases multiple Navy publications as references to regulations and procedures. We aided in the processes of cleaning up inventories, improvement of handling NWCF materials, and accountability of materials during the transfer process to military installations and foreign governments•Performed on site physical inspections of inventory as directed by NAVSUP personnel, collected key documentation, information, data, and actions relevant to the execution of the NAVSUP inventory plan; consolidate and deliver individual site inspection results to NAVSUP WSS and Na Ali’i support team.•Identify and document inventory deficiencies while assisting with the testing and the analysis of NWCF inventory control procedures making recommendations for the correction of deficiencies •Assisted in making recommendations to NAVSUP Inventory Operations Center (IOC) personnel on any improvements that could be made to improve inventory management and control practices and aiding in the cleaning up of frustrated materials and previous contract issues that may be still present. •Prepared and completed all required site visit documentation in accordance with applicable DoD guidelines and provided competent and organized reports on the results and finding of each activity to ensure understanding of the results to the site and to be centrally collected, organized and presented to higher Navy and government officials.•Maintained a Secret Security Clearance in the performance of responsibilities and handling of Classified documents, materials and protected processes of various organizations.and clients in regards to results, inventory, contracts, and “Secret” materials and processes of investigated materials onboard military bases, civilian repair facilities and warehouses.
