• One of nine professionals responsible for the management of over $1 billion of capital, representing approximately $2 billion of gross asset value, for the investment arm of the Harvard University Endowment.• Led due diligence and underwriting process for privately negotiated real estate transactions. Individually evaluated over $3 billion of proposed acquisitions in over 100 separate transactions, resulting in the placement of $500 million of capital in 38 investments. • Worked directly with senior investment professionals in every aspect of acquisition, disposition and asset management processes. Other duties included managing partnership relationships and making day-to-day asset management decisions with relative autonomy. • Developed cash-flow models detailing complex financial structures, including equity, preferred equity, mezzanine debt and participating debt positions.

• Managed a portfolio of office / R&D assets in the Mid-Atlantic region, which included negotiating leases, managing P & L statements, and developing exit strategies. Assisted three senior portfolio managers in financial analysis of $500 million of institutional real estate holdings throughout the U.S. Assets ranged from CBD office buildings to suburban R&D buildings to land held for development.• Prepared quarterly valuations using discounted cash-flow and land residual models to determine investment fair market value. Developed detailed cash flow scenarios and alternatives for troubled assets.
