 I am responsible for all internal technology systems within the company, which includes 7 physical locations in the state of Texas.  I directly manage the internal technical group that supports all locations, in addition to any technology overlap with the copier service group for network functionality and remote support. I have also created an internal remote call center, and tools and resources to manage both internal company hardware and software, but also customers that we provide IT support for on a project level or for ongoing support.  I have been responsible for all areas of redesigning the company website, incorporating new processes for fulfilling sales orders and customer service, and I have been responsible for implementing and designing the company wide Document Management System in use currently to support the company ERP software, and setting up multi-site intra company video conferencing systems using primarily CITRIX.  I am part of the management team that assists in making strategic decisions about the growth of the company and new acquisitions, and the acquisition and further development of any new technology, along with assisting in operations for any new facility or processes.  In 2014, we have moved three offices to new locations, and started up a new building in a new marketplace. I have operational responsibility to assist our VP of Operations with the internal layout, cabling infrastructure, and with support of my team, to ensure all Carrier, Phone, and IT systems are moved with minimal downtime to daily operations. I currently have 10 technicians with direct/indirect duties that report to me, and I am responsible for both our internal company with 17 servers, physical and virtual, a VOIP phone system, DMS, ERP, Network, Security Policies and Procedures, and much more.

I started this company with 1 other employee and worked part time to build the business fixing home computers and setting up small networks and websites. In May 2003, I went full time working and had regular customers that paid us to be their IT firm. We grew to have 4 employees. Eventually, we merged with a bigger ISP in March of 2008, and expanded to selling VOIP, and handling full implementations of servers and designing networks for small to medium companies up to about 50 computers. We provided cabling, and started providing server storage and had a COLO location in the Galleria, and sold Internet services. I was responsible as a part owner and senior network technician for the direction of the company and also filling in to perform maintenance or solve problems for networks and servers. I also was responsible for acquiring and bidding new customers and jobs.

I started out as a customer service representative on the phone for technical support on the SBC DSL account. Within 1 month, I was promoted to Manager on the Compaq account. Within 6 months, I was promoted to manager of customer relations for all of Compaq's RTO program and Presario desktop computers nationwide. I was recognized and awarded for outstanding customer service for my team and received a plaque and a monetary award. Before I completed my first year, I was promoted to operations manager on the SBC account. I had 500 direct reports and 30 managers reported to me. I was the leader of many special projects, which included starting up new accounts, and sub accounts. I was also responsible for 2nd level tech support and also the bilingual teams. I performed that job for almost 3 years and received exemplary recognition on my annual reviews. I had 5 managers on my team get promoted to operations managers since then, two during my employment there, and the others shortly after I left, and several employees on my personal team, as well as on my account also become promoted to management. In May, 2003 I was promoted; centers. I was also responsible for the incentive team in 7 centers nationwide on the SBC account, and 1500 employees total before I left to run my own company full time for the next 5 years.

My responsibilities included managing a retail store, hiring and training employees, controlling inventory, managing the P&L monthly, and ultimately increasing sales for the store.
