As the Managing Director and CEO of the firm, I was responsible for the vision and growth of the company as well as the development of a team of highly skilled, highly motivated project managers and staff. Our teams have executed projects including:-The implementation of a new servicing system for a $24 Billion residential loan portfolio (as well as $2B acquisition portfolio) including the redesign of: general ledger structure, servicing system to general ledger reconciliations, transaction processing procedures, financial reporting and internal controls-Collaborative effort with IR on development of default servicing expense tracking at a loan level in the new servicing system and set up for investor reporting for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac owned loans-Creation and utilization of complex MS Excel macros to execute the general ledger structure redesign-Identification and testing of financial and accounting related specification changes to origination system for accurate interfacing with new servicing system-Construction and testing an SQL and MS Access based application to appropriately calculate loan charge offs for the residential loan portfolio in accordance with regulatory guidance-Design of new processes and procedures for Controllers and Financial Processing divisions including: interest income and non-accrual accounting, amortization and yield calculations, accounting for troubled debt restructurings, allowance for loan losses and loan charge offs-Identification and analysis for a key management decision resulting in a $1m+ cash cost savings to a client-Development of origination settlement processes, data mapping, controls and general ledger design for an acquired bank’s origination channel-Formation of strategy for the identification of root causes and designed a project resulting in identification of $2 Million of borrower facing errors related to the calculation of mortgage tax at settlement

-Served as conversion workstream lead on $2.8T mortgage portfolio (the largest ever conversion of a loan accounting system) for one of the GSE's. Managed between 4-12 resources over the course of 3 years. Responsibilities included drafting of requirements, design and build coordination, developing reconciliation and other SOX compliant controls as well as design and execution of testing approach. Liaised with internal and external audit to ensure their comfort with our conversion approach and controls.

-Leads Internal Audit teams on the audits of mortgage banking clients with duties including the understanding and application of key accounting guidance for a variety of complicated transactions and accounting issues including debt and equity financing, derivatives and valuation.-Expertise in loan accounting relating to large mortgage origination and servicing client – duties included the preparation and design of repeatable processes, journal entries and Sarbanes-Oxley compliant controls for loan accounting issues including: HFS vs. HFI designation, interest income, non-accrual, amortization, FAS 91, trouble debt restructurings, REO, allowance for loan losses, charge offs and valuations. -Reviews and evaluates complex transactions, journal entries, reconciliations and evidential matter to assist management in the execution of their external audit and ensure compliance with GAAP.-Leads Sarbanes-Oxley implementation efforts for wide variety of financial service clients -Evaluates process design to identify control gaps and suggests controls to remediate deficiencies-Provided analytical support skills to help emerging and middle market companies develop and execute growth strategies and complete buy and sell side transactions

-Directed year-end audits, quarters, public debt and equity offerings and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance engagements for public Real Estate client-Worked directly with real estate industry professionals regarding valuations, legal review of transactional agreements including loans, equity financing, tenancy, terminations, etc.-Led engagement teams on audits of several high profile institutional mutual funds for multiple leading financial management companies
