Oversee compounding preparations, supervise, and dispense prescription medication in compliance with state & federal laws · Manage processes regarding patient consultations, review allergies, contraindication resolution, and physician consultations and resolve any other clinical needs daily · Collaborate with management staff regarding formula development, pricing strategy and workflow · Oversee and check all orders received, ensuring timely and accurate processing · Ensure department staff follow all safety procedures and guidelines for preparation of non-sterile compounds · Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas · Understand Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice · Ensure compliance with current medication management standards and with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy and the DEA ·
