Manufacture from ambient air thru compression and, distillation the separation into gaseous and, liquid products Air, Argon and Nitrogen for use in Steel making inside Sparrows Point Steel Mill. Take readings of gauges in the field and control room. Make rounds of plant to check for hazards, leaks, equipement in need of repair. Make adjustments necessary to maintain plant in top running order.

Responsible for the safe Operation of plant reactors in the manufacture of soap related products. Maintain inventory to ensure proper material is used in subsequent chemical batches. Light maintenance of flanges, gaskets, gauges and transfer hoses. Maintain shift logbook of daily activities and production. Deliver to management daily production.

Monitors and operate plant to maintain safe continuous plant operation. Make rounds to check condition of plant equipment and record operational data on log sheets. Work with Boilers, Combusters, and related plant equipment. Operate Grapple Crane to manage MSW pit. Experience with Fly Ash, Bottom ash siftings, atomizers, Carbon Injection and Bag houses. Monitor plant electrical Turbine for generation of usable electricity. Experienced Front End Loader operator.

Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of pulverized coal power plant facility. Utilize large scale grinding mills to process raw coal into usable energy. Maintain multiple nitrogen compressors. Regularly run natural gassed fired Hot gas generators. Oversee the loading of unprocessed raw coal using large conveyor systems to Silo’s with capacities of 2000 tons each. Monitor control room HMI of plant equipment and, make adjustments necessary to maintain equipment in optimum working order. Submit daily reports. Keep detailed, accurate log book records. Grease, clean, lubricate and, perform routine maintenance on plant equipment to maintain operational reliability. Perform maintenance and repairs on multiple control instruments throughout the plant. Machine, repair and fabricate parts as needed using shop tools and equipment.

Responsible for the safe operation of the plant processes in the manufacture of heavy duty chemical products. Use of operating procedures to start, stop, adjust or modify equipment operation (including conveying equipment) to ensure all equipment is operating within operating limits. Submit daily reports to supervision detailing production for the entire shift. Responsible for tightening fittings, changing gaskets and, gauges. Extensive use of computer controlled devices including PLC, TDC, and windows based programs. Responsible for the unloading of bulk raw materials to storage vessels from both truck and rail car. Utilize the SAP ordering and inventory control system. Write and submit corrective work orders for repairs.

Responsible for the proper operation of the plant facility while on shift. Work on shift in a control room environment monitoring the operation of the plant processes and equipment. Work directly with pumps, exchangers, compressors, dryers, chillers, motors, cooling towers, columns, scrubbers and related plant equipment. Maintain plant equipment by oiling, lubricating, cleaning and identifying equipment in need of corrective maintenance. Keep accurate control room logbook for smooth shift transition. Troubleshoot and adjust process equipment as needed to minimize plant downtime. Safe handling of Hazardous materials in a chemical plant environment. Loading and unloading of bulk raw materials to storage tanks. Extensive use of computer controlled devices including PLC, Control Board, DCS and Windows based operating systems. Utilize SAP inventory / ordering system. Environmental emission and in-process testing.
