Provide specialist technical resource / project management for Nestlé UK and Ireland IS Strategic Projects team.Involved with the global business excellence programme called GLOBE that started in the UK in 2003 - supported largely by SAP systems.Carried out a number of roles in systems development, implementation and support, primarily in the field of collaborative eProcurement with major suppliers. Tested and implemented in-house Vendor Managed Inventory solution with major suppliers, reducing administrative overhead and total supply chain stock.Developed and implemented eSupply Chain with CPGMarket (now Accenture), SAP and SCA Packaging Ltd. Extended the solution to all UK factories to further exploit the benefits. Migrated eProcurement solutions to the GLOBE template, which supports the GCI Global Upstream Supply Initiative.Rolled-out eSupply Chain across major suppliers of packaging and ingredients.Currently working on a project to implement electronic purchase orders and invoices with Indirect materials suppliers in collaboration with another internet market place provider.

Group IS Joined Group IS at the beginning of the UK SAP development and implementation project, initially bringing my experience of warehousing to the team.Studied the SAP IM and WM modules 'out of the box', evaluating their application and fit to business processes in order to exploit the benefits of common integrated systems for inbound materials.Successfully started up two warehouses for first factory go-live in 1995.Expanded specialist knowledge into manufacturing, and managed implementation projects for all SAP manufacturing and logistics processes from 1996.Project managed SAP implementations in 7 UK factories. Managed a team of 12 colleagues across 3 sites for the last of these projects - with a non negotiable deadline of 31.12.1999!

Responsible for management of the Finished Goods warehouse and direct distribution of around 50% of throughput to major customers using 3rd party hauliers.Deeply involved in the development of a new £2.6m warehouse and associated systems, which greatly increased efficiency.

Joined Rowntree as a junior manager and was promoted 4 times to above position. Had a number of roles mostly running warehousing, transport and/or administration in distribution depots, managing staff of up to 30.In last role was a key player in a depot reorganisation that involved increased throughput of 40% and transition to a multi-shift operation.
