Currently serving as the Headquarters and Service Company Commander. Responsible for the welfare and deployment readiness of 280 personnel, 84 heavy equipment assets worth over $29M. Responsible for the motor-transport and heavy equipment maintenance for the largest ground transportation unit in the Marine Corps. Selected above peers for command based on performance in previous leadership positions. Mentored and guided all direct reports through one on one and group discussions, in all aspects of life and career. Implemented new policies and procedures for the unit which produces consistently high maintenance production weeks. Improved deployment readiness of all trucks and heavy equipment by 32% through a maintenance cycle reform Improved deployment readiness of personnel by 44% through operations stand down and safety training. Developed an in-depth plan to train and evaluate the company based on institutional performance metrics, in order to sustain occupational skills competency in peace time.

Served as the Logistics Operations Planner, for Joint Task Force – Nigeria, while performing a three-continent exercise involving all branches of the U.S. Military, U.K. Royal Marine Commandos and the Department of State simulating the evacuation of all U.S. citizens from Nigeria. Selected for position based on subject matter expertise in West African logistical support and ability to apply tactical and operational knowledge to solve strategic level problems. Planned the logistics operations for a force of 20,000, including embarkation, sustainment and special operations. Awarded for performance on the MEB Crisis Action Team.

Led a joint US Military mobile training team, conducting maritime security training in West Africa. Advised senior level US Department of State members on partner nation military’s capacity and capability for homeland defense operations and ensured US military strategic access in the Gulf of Guinea Region. Selected above peers to lead high profile missions with a high security risk for leadership ability and effective communication skills while dealing with subordinates and superiors. Integrated US and African forces to create a cohesive team and focus on security initiatives Developed and implemented internal and external training plans in order to train foreign militaries and partner nations. Developed maintenance processes, procedures and schedule cycles specific to the partner nation’s equipment. Improved all partner nations’ ability to logistically sustain fighting forces, particularly in a maritime security operations Produced mature, responsible and trained forces to operate in a highly kinetic and underdeveloped area. Appointed as the Senior Watch Officer for Operation Oaken Lotus - the military assisted departure of U.S. personnel from the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli, Libya. Awarded by Department of State for positive maritime security impact in the Gulf of Guinea.

Responsible for the welfare, deployment readiness, assigned missions and over $7M of military assets and equipment.Ensured the safety, wellbeing and deployment readiness of 89 employees assigned to the platoon. Conducted 135 helicopter external lift operations and 16 aerial-delivery, airborne operations with no injuries, resultingin 0 lost work time. Served as officer-in-charge of the on-load and off-load of 8 Port and 8 Beach operations groups, charged with loadingor unloading multiple US Navy war ships at a time with over $250M of equipment and up to 329 Personnel each. Implemented new policies and procedures for the unit that improved the efficiency of port operations removing a fullwork day from each on-load.
