Product Owner for two scrum teams - one onshore and one offshore. My responsibilities included gathering business requirements, creating product roadmaps and translating them into features and user stories, prioritizing backlogs, training internal and external users, implementing new products and visiting clients around the country to help resolve issues, ensure product adoption and better understand market needs.I also attended planning, sizing, retrospective and daily standup meetings for two teams and helped the development teams with testing when needed (both iteration testing and deployment testing). I have been fortunate to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that has allowed me to develop both technical skills and subject matter expertise. Because of this, I was frequently consulted by co-workers on other teams when they had questions or needed assistance with technical or business problems.

I tested mostly web applications (.NET, MVC, TELERIK, AngularJS), web services (both SOAP and REST), windows services, and some Windows applications. I was responsible for test planning, test case creation and maintenance, as well as entering and managing defects. As a member of multiple Scrum teams, I actively participated in daily standup meetings, planning meetings and sizing meetings. I excelled at communication with both the Product Management and Development teams and frequently helped defuse conflicts by reminding the team to focus on WHAT was right, instead of WHO was right. The task of communicating uncomfortable news (such as risks that might jeopardize release dates) often fell to me. The application I spent most of my time testing (Patient Access Solutions) was highly distributed and extremely complex, with both internal and external dependencies. In order to thoroughly test it, I had to be knowledgeable about multiple diverse software applications and had to work effectively with internal and external partners.

I tested applications on many different platforms: Windows, Web, Mobile (Palm OS), and DOS. I was responsible for test planning, test case creation/execution and defect management.
