ARM-D-COP is a project which brought together the Faculty of Engineering from the University of Malta and Silvercraft Products Ltd. Funded through the R & I FUSION Fund administered by the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST). The consortium developed a novel machine capable of manufacturing Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) Utility poles that are longer and have a better strength to weight ratio than conventional alternatives.

Design of a cable stressing jack to be used in the construction industry.

Developed course guides, unit descriptors, teaching resource packs and related documentation including assessment criteria for several mechanical engineering subjects at National Higher Diploma level offered by MCAST.

The project utilizes numerical finite element simulation, cross referenced with realistic experimental testing, consequently establishing optimum phase constituents with respect to structural performance and design intent, at minimal production costs

Part of a team led by Prof. Joseph Grima working on a project coordinated by Inġ. Michael Attard between IMA Engineering Ltd., PowerSwitch Ltd. and the University of Malta and financed by MCST through the R&I-2006-006 programme. My role entailed numerical modelling of composites made up of randomly dispersed carbon nanotubes in Cu matrix.

Part of a team led by Prof. Joseph Grima working on a project between the University of Malta and Methode Electronics Malta Ltd. and financed by MCST through the R&I-2008-037 programme (Grant value €140,000). It entailed mechanical testing and numerical modelling of smart novel auxetic materials in particular PU foam.
