41 Years of age. Work in Heavy Civil Construction Industry with an emphasis on Public Works, State DOT, Private Development- Building Roads, Site Development Grading. Became an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Operator with Local 12 in 1998 & succesfully completed apprenticeship in 2002. Promoted to Grading Foreman in 2005 building several multi million dollar projects for Berry General Engineering Contractors Inc. In 2011, promoted to Project Manager/ Estimator for Berry General Engineering before moving onto a new company in the spring of 2014 where, I currently work as a Project Engineer for Granite Construction Inc. In 2014, I played an integral part in starting a Grading division for a small non-union shop in Santa Paula; R&R Pipeline. Seeking a better opportunity and wanting to broaden my knowledge base, I moved over to Sam Hill for a brief period of time before ultimately, making the decision to work out in the field to supervise work again.
