Seconded to Singapore to manage the local deployment of a high-profile MRPII (SAP) for GlaxoSmithkline’s principal manufacturing centre in Asia-Pacific. Responsible for all aspects of end-user and server support across 450 desktops.Gained invaluable experience in participating in cross-functional, cross-cultural teams, deploying a complex enterprise management system with aggressive timetables.Specific duties and tasks included: -• Managed local deployment of 350 PCs to site, with NT 4.0 SAP approved build.• Plan and co-ordinate the deployment of SAP/CMMS clients across the site.• Implementation of 1MB IPLC (WAN) between Singapore and the UK (SingTel & Global One)• Train local staff in desktop build procedures, maintaining the PCs in a controlled and validated environment.• Lead and coordinate infrastructure activities between Singapore and the UK SAP cross-functional teams.• Plan and manage implementation to ensure delivery of the above according to schedule.
